Aurora prepares fabrics for use in a variety of industrial abrasive sanding applications. We supply the treated fabrics to the manufacturers to produce and sell the finished sanding products to the market.  Primary end uses for our materials are applications such as sanding belts, sanding discs, and sanding wheels.

The fabrics used are typically 100% cotton, or polyester woven fabrics, depending on the abrasive application. Aurora can source the range of abrasive cloth standard weight fabrics used in the abrasive market, which vary in thickness, flexibility, construction, and strength.  Aurora treats the fabric to provide better grain retention on the backing, which can provide additional durability under demanding loads.
